Established in 1925 by a Britishman named James T Allen,Aigburth Estate owns its own 800 het.of tea garden,Aigburth Tea Factory and Aigburth Manor as a hotel.
For past 90 years,Aigburth Estate has been selling the pure Suriyakanda Ceylon black tea exclusively to Colombo Tea Auction.Recently,an Export Permit was obtained to enable us to export the various grades of quality black tea directly to foreign buyers.
